Optometrist Meet Dr. Carenza Dr. Carenza loves the St. Peters area and assisting patients with all of their eye care needs. She brings strong clinical training, professional involvement, and a warm approach to helping patients protect their vision and feel comfortable with their care. Education & Clinical Training Dr. Carenza grew up in a small town in Alabama. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. She earned her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Missouri St. Louis College of Optometry, where she completed several clinical rotations focused on contact lenses, pediatrics, and ocular disease. Professional Memberships Dr. Carenza is a member of the AOA (American Optometric Association), the MOA (Missouri Optometric Association), and the AAO (American Academy of Optometry). She was also honored with admittance to the National Optometric Gold Key Society, which is granted to individuals who exhibit leadership and service throughout optometry school.
